Color Me Crazy 5K benefiting the Montgomery Miracle League

Earlier this month, I stepped out of my comfort zone, and for the first time ever, shot an event that was very much public. MUCH Larger scale than a child’s birthday party. March 8,2014 at the Thompson Park off Ray Thorington Road. Proceeds from this run went to help support the League. The Miracle League has helped hundreds of kids and adults play baseball who otherwise could not. They offer scholarships to families who cannot afford it as well. The program is run by dedicated volunteers who love working with these very special individuals. For more information on the Miracle League or if you are interested in volunteering opportunities email to montgomerymiracleleague@gmail.com or look for them on Facebook. They have various activities throughout the year, in addition to their baseball seasons. I Had a Blast, and learned that I enjoy saying ” I am a Photographer for “Humans of the River Region, as well as Officially Photographing this event for the Miracle League of Montgomery” (may need to put that on a business card :P) . I had a Blast, and I think I got some pretty cool shots too! ( I am happy with them anyway) I was given the opportunity to bless others with the talent God has blessed with me, and I hope to be able to do more of it! Here is to trying new things, gaining confidence, and learning to overcome my shy streak with the help of my camera.DSC_0021 copy DSC_0135 copy DSC_0153 copy DSC_0157 copy DSC_0228 copy DSC_0495 copy DSC_0565 copy DSC_0675 copy DSC_0865 copy DSC_1004 copy
